Bad Company is an English rock supergroup formed in 1973 by singer Paul Rodgers, drummer Simon Kirk, guitarist Mick Ralphs and bassist Boz Burrell. Until 1982, Bad Company was managed by Peter Grant, who had long collaborated with Led Zeppelin.

Singers Room writes: "Bad Company enjoyed great success during the 1970s. Their first three albums, Bad Company (1974), Straight Shooter (1975) and Run with the Pack (1976), reached the top five on the UK and US album charts. Many of their singles and songs, such as "Bad Company", "Can't Get Enough" (1974), "Feel Like Makin' Love" (1975), "Shooting Star" (1975), "Burnin' Sky" (1977) and "Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy" (1979), are still considered to be classic rock radio staples to this day.

In total, the band has sold 20 million RIAA-certified albums in the United States and 40 million worldwide.

Despite the fact that Bad Company broke up in 1982, they reunited for recording and touring on several occasions until 2019. It was only in 2023 that Kirk announced that the band would cease to exist, as Rogers had recently experienced health problems.

Here are the 10 greatest hits of Bad Company according to Singers Room.

Can't Get Enough

"Can't Get Enough" is a single by Bad Company that appeared on the band's debut album in 1974. It quickly became their biggest hit and is considered their most popular song.

The song peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on Cashbox magazine's Top 100 Singles chart.

Rock Steady

Rock Steady is the second song from the band's debut studio album "Bad Company". It was recorded at Headley Grange in Ronnie Lane's mobile studio in November 1973 and was the first album released on Led Zeppelin's Swan Song Records label.

Ready for Love

"Ready for Love" is a song written by Mick Ralphs and released by his band Mott the Hoople (1972 album All the Young Dudes). After Ralphs left Mott the Hoople to join Bad Company, a reworked version of the song was released on his new band's debut album in 1974. Although not released as a single, this version became a popular song on the radio and was also frequently featured on many Bad Company live albums and compilations.

Shooting Star

"Shooting Star" is a song written by Paul Rodgers and released by Bad Company as part of their 1975 album Straight Shooter. "Shooting Star" was not released as a single, but it was played on the radio and regularly included on Bad Company live albums and compilations.

Feel Like Makin' Love

"Feel Like Makin' Love" - this power ballad originally appeared on the LP Straight Shooter in April 1975 and was released as a single in June of the same year. The song was named the 78th greatest hard rock song of all time by VH1.

"Feel Like Makin' Love", along with other Bad Company songs, is featured in the 2001 movie Scotland, Pennsylvania.

Run With the Pack

Run With the Pack is the fifth song from Bad Company's third studio album of the same name. It was released on January 30, 1976 via Island Records.

The album was recorded in France on the Rolling Stones' mobile truck in September 1975 with engineer Ron Nevison and mixed in Los Angeles by Eddie Kramer.

Run With the Pack peaked at number 4 on the UK album chart and number 5 on the US Billboard 200. It sold one million copies in the US alone.

Movin' On

"Movin' On" is a song written by Mick Ralphs and first released as a single by Hackensack in 1972. Later, this composition was included in the debut album Bad Company, where Ralphs played lead guitar.

"Movin' On" was released as the second single from the album, as a follow-up to "Can't Get Enough," and reached #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #30 in Canada.

Bad Company

The song "Bad Company" appeared on the band's debut album of the same name in 1974. It was co-written by the band's lead singer Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirk. The lyrics are taken from a book about Victorian morality.

Ultimate Classic Rock critic Matt Wardlaw called the song "Western", and Rogers said that it "has an almost biblical lawlessness to it, like in the land of promise".

Good Lovin' Gone Bad

"Good Lovin' Gone Bad" (Straight Shooter album) was released in 1975. The song immediately hit the Top 40 in the US and UK.

Billboard described it as "a raging, crushing assault" and praised the vocals and guitar playing, Cash Box called it "solid, quality rock", and music critic Jenny Roberts identified it as "Bad Company's sixth best song" and called it "pure" straight rock and roll".

Seagull

"Seagull" (Ralphs, Rodgers) is the 6th song from the live album Bad Company - Live at Wembley, released in 2011.

It was recorded on April 11, 2010 from a live concert at Wembley Arena in London, England.
