The Pokémon GO community is dominated by the spirit of the franchise, so many "trainers" have a dream of catching them all. This also applies to the rarest creatures you can add to your team, although many of them are legendary Pokémon, there are even more difficult ones.
In the non-linear world of Pokémon GO, according to the Bull Frag website, things are a little different. Some Pokémon can only be caught during special events, some appear only in certain regions of the world, and some need to be defeated in raids before you have a chance to catch them.
Here are the rarest Pokémon GO creatures and tips on how to find them to help you get closer to completing your Pokédex.
Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie
We have three Pokémon in the first place, but that's what makes them so rare. Each of them appears only in certain regions and infrequently. Getting a legendary Pokémon in your region is hard enough, but getting the other two is even harder.
To find Azelf, you need to be in America and Greenland. Mesprit will only appear in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. And finally, Uxie lives exclusively in the Asia-Pacific region. This means you'll need friends around the world or have to travel a lot to catch them all.
All Unown
Unsurprisingly, the mysterious Unown is one of the rarest creatures in Pokémon Go, and collecting a complete set of all Unowns (there are 26 of them!) often seems like a daunting task. As a rule, Unowns appear during special events, but it is extremely difficult to find them on the street.
Free pikachu
This Pikachu in a special costume is not a priority for any region or event, you just have to earn it. Thus, to get Pikachu Libre, you need to reach the last rank in the Go Battle League.
Axew
The Axew from the Unowa region, which turns into the dreaded Haxorus, has a reputation as one of the rarest non-legendary and non-mythical creatures in Pokémon Go, thanks to its incredibly low frequency of occurrence in the wild.
It is possible to hatch an Axew from a 10-kilometer-long egg, but it is one of the rarest, so the chances of this happening are very low. It doesn't help that 10 km long eggs are not that common. However, it might be your best chance.
Archen
Another rare Pokémon on our list is Archen, a Rock/Flying type that debuted in January 2020 alongside Tirtuga. As with this Pokémon, it used to be able to be obtained from 7-kilometer eggs, but now it is only available in the wild.
However, just because it's available doesn't mean it's easy to find, let alone catch enough of them to turn into Archeops. It will be incredibly difficult, and you may have to spend your Rare Candy on it.
