If you don't know how to serve cauliflower with mushrooms and cheese in an original way, this recipe is for you. A juicy steak with a delicious crust can be made not only from fish and meat, but also from cauliflower. The dish is very healthy, tasty and light.
- Wash and dry the cauliflower. Cut off the leaves and the base of the head. Cut lengthwise into slices 2.5-3 cm thick.
- Wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices. Peel and crush the garlic with a knife. Fry the mushrooms with the garlic in a frying pan with oil until golden brown. Remove the garlic.
- Combine olive oil, sweet paprika, pepper and salt in a small bowl. Stir to combine.
- Place the cabbage steaks on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush each piece with the olive oil and spice mixture. Bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for 20 minutes.
- Take the cabbage steaks out of the oven, put the mushrooms on them and sprinkle with cheese grated on a coarse grater. Put back in the oven and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
Tips:
- Fresh garlic can be replaced with dried garlic.
