Just rub the ear of corn with a clean gripper pad, and those annoying strands should come right off. Grippy shelf liners serve the same purpose effectively.

2. Wear Rubber Gloves

Disposable rubber kitchen gloves work similarly to gripper pads. After removing the husks, rub the cob with a gloved hand to remove the silk, then rinse the cob under water to eliminate remaining strands.

3. Employ a Brush

A vegetable brush, or even a clean toothbrush, can effectively brush away corn silk. Simply brush the shucked corn in a consistent direction, and the strands will detach smoothly.

4. Apply Heat
