Every marriage is full of ups and downs. And the culprits of the downturns are often not something global, but trivial but extremely annoying problems for us.

SSPDaily writes: "As they gradually accumulate, they literally bite into a marriage, causing chaos and tension between spouses. And the consequences of negative emotions inevitably lead to mutual resentment that can cause irreparable damage."

Here are 5 reasons why spouses fight most often and simple ways to solve these problems.

The toilet seat is not lowered

When you come home from work, you go to the toilet. And when your body comes into contact with the cold rim, you realize that someone forgot to put the seat down!

Solution: If you are tired of reminders and internal resentment about the constantly raised seat, buy a special lift - a small device that attaches to the bottom of the toilet. This technology uses motion sensors to detect when someone is nearby, and when no one is, the mechanism automatically lowers the seat.

The need to remind you of important family events

Often in marriages, one person acts as a "secretary" and, of course, is offended by the need to constantly remind the partner who does not remember anything about certain important events in the family.

If you have a similar problem in your marriage, a game similar to memory card games can help solve it. Together with your partner, create two personalized decks of cards depicting important dates and events. The goal of the game is to match each date with each event, and the loser will have to give up something for the winner for a week or take on additional household chores.

Disagreements while driving

Everyone's driving habits are different, and it's easy to get annoyed with your partner for driving differently from you. In turn, psychologists say that most often couples quarrel in the car.

Solution: Try to make a "contract" with your partner about the rules and expectations while driving.

If you address issues such as safety, speed limits, and emergency protocols, you'll both feel more confident and calm in the long run.

A loud TV

There are two types of people in this world - those who watch TV like a normal person and those who like loud sound and turn it up to the max. And if these people are spouses, then conflict is inevitable, because overexcitement and emotional dysregulation from loud sounds is a real thing!

Solution: The best thing to do is to try to come to an agreement with your partner. However, if talking doesn't help, look online for soundproof wall panels, sound-canceling headphones, or sound-absorbing blankets. There are many options to reduce the noise from a loud TV.

Snoring

Snoring in the middle of the night, and even at your side, can make anyone mad. This "legitimate" reason for resentment can seriously damage your relationship with your partner, especially if the snoring is repeated over and over again.

Solution: Fortunately, modern technology offers many ways to solve this problem. For example, an oral or nasal tape, or a mouthpiece. Unlike bulky and expensive devices, they are easy to put on and take off, which will result in both you and your partner sleeping peacefully.
