A blogger named Walfredo_wya shared his story that happened on an airplane. The incident he described took place on July 11. This was reported by SSPDaily.

He gave details about a passenger sitting two rows away from him. After explaining himself, he asked other users to vote online and received support, FoxNews reports.

What happened on the plane

According to the user, the woman sitting two seats behind him on the flight was talking very loudly. He emphasized that even earplugs did not help.

When the plane landed, he went over and said everything he thought about her manners right to the passenger's face.

"I got up, walked back and said, "You guys are going to Florida next, aren't you? You might want to think about keeping it a little quieter on the next flight. I had earplugs and I could hear you guys screaming the whole time," he wrote.

"I go back and her boyfriend calls me an idiot. So I go back and ask what he said. He told me I was an idiot," the user wrote.

According to the blogger, the passengers insisted that they "weren't even talking loudly."

"I show them the earplugs in my hands and say, "I had earplugs in my ears two seats in front of you and I heard everything about Frank's wedding, your manicure appointment, feeding your dogs, your cell phone bill, and what TV show your mom is watching," Walfredo_wya wrote.

In the end, the user asked others in the subreddit if he was wrong, "what did I say to the woman who sat two seats behind me on the plane [that] she was screaming the whole flight?"

It is noted that of the nearly 1,000 responses to the post, most people said the man was an "NTA" ("Not an A-hole") for speaking up and telling the woman to shut up before the next flight.

Some people said that they would have been too anxious to confront a loud person on an airplane.

"NTA. It's good that you told them," wrote user Able_Bet_1168 in a reply that appears in the top story.

"If you can hear them from two seats behind you even with earplugs, they are definitely talking too loud. NTA," ibe404error wrote in another top comment.

Nearly 1,000 people on Reddit defended the user who told two other travelers on his flight to shut up.

Others were impressed with Walfredo_wya's bravery, saying they would have been too anxious to confront a loud person on the plane.

"My anxiety would never allow me to do that, but I would have applauded you 100% if I were on your flight," Kelsnuggets wrote.

Many other users shared stories of how they dealt with loud people in their lives.

"I downloaded a decibel monitor to check my brother's voice. It was at the level of a passing train," said user Agreeable-Meal5836.
