This method of cooking prevents lentils from turning into mush. Serve them as a side dish or use them in salads. SSPDaily tells about it.
- Rinse the red lentils well under running cold water.
- Put them in a microwave-safe glass dish.
- Pour in hot water and microwave for seven minutes, uncovered, on high power 900-1000 watts.
Tips:
- If the power of your microwave oven is lower, increase the cooking time by two minutes.
