How to clean earphones from earwax: 3 helpful tips
Do you know how to quickly and effectively clean your earbuds from earwax? SSPDaily has prepared tips to help you deal with this problem.
Use a soft cloth
Take a soft cloth or microfiber cloth to gently remove wax. First, remove the silicone tips if possible, then lightly moisten the cloth with a mild cleaning solution. After that, allow the earbuds to dry completely, reattach the tips, and use the device again.
Toothpicks
Remove the silicone tips. Then, gently scrape off any visible earwax or debris from the earbuds' speaker with a clean toothpick. This method only takes a few minutes and will leave your earbuds looking and sounding like new.
Compressed air
Remove the tips and use a can of compressed air to blow out any earwax or debris stuck in the speaker mesh or crevices. After that, wipe the outer surface of the headphones with a clean cloth or a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
