How to stretch any new shoes: 3 useful life hacks
Do you know how to stretch your shoes? SSPDaily has shared several proven methods that will help you with this.
Ice
Place two Ziploc bags filled with water in each shoe. After inserting the bags, put the shoes in the freezer overnight. As the water freezes, it will expand, effectively stretching the shoe. The next day, remove the shoes from the freezer, allow the ice to melt, and then take out the bags.
Hair dryer and thick socks
Wear a pair of thick socks and then the shoes that need stretching. Use a hair dryer to heat the areas of the shoe that feel tight. While doing this, wiggle your feet and move your toes to help stretch the material. Keep wearing the shoes until they have cooled completely after exposure to the heat.
Alcohol solution
A solution of equal parts alcohol and water will help stretch suede shoes. It's advisable to use a spray bottle to apply the solution to the tight areas. Avoid saturating the material; ensure it's only damp.
After applying the solution, wear the shoes until they are completely dry. As the alcohol evaporates, it will help stretch the material to conform to the shape of your foot.
