The most common mistakes we make before 9 a.m.
The effectiveness of our day largely depends on how we start it. Psychologists say that there are a number of classic "morning" mistakes that set our future actions in the wrong direction.
The SSPDaily website has published an article on "What mistakes do you regularly make before 9 am". Here's what experts advise you to avoid.
Get out of the state of slumber
The most common mistake in the morning is to start it with a sharp rise from bed when your muscles have not yet adapted.
This attitude towards your body is wrong. Experts recommend that you first get out of a state of nighttime slumber. Then, lying in bed, stretch in all directions and feel your muscles relax. And only then get up. And to do it right, set your alarm 15-20 minutes earlier than usual. This way, your day won't turn into a rush and chaos.
Eat in the morning
The second classic mistake of a "wrong" morning is to put off breakfast until later.
As a result, you miss the most important meal of the day. During sleep, experts say, the metabolism slows down, and you need "fuel" to restore it. In addition, in the morning, blood glucose levels are low and should be normalized with food.
What to do:
"Within 45 minutes to one hour of waking up, eat something! It can be eggs, a serving of fruit, milk with cereal, or even a handful of nuts," advises nutritionist Mansi Chatrath. She also recommends drinking 2-3 glasses of water on an empty stomach.
Take your time with things
You can get up right, but then the morning rush begins, when you need to get everything done. This should be avoided! Such a drive will lead to the fact that by noon you will begin to lose strength, then drowsiness will appear and the day will be hopelessly ruined.
What to keep in mind: Set aside time for yourself in the morning. It can be yoga, running, walking, or breathing practice. The main thing here is to set the right rhythm for the day.
Give up the snooze button
Do you set your phone alarm for 6.30, 6.40, 6.50, and 7.00 am? This is a mistake. Medicine says that sleeping after the alarm clock rings knocks the body out of its normal schedule and it is better not to use the snooze button at all.
Instead: Train yourself to wake up immediately after the alarm goes off. Sit on the bed, do some stretches, take a deep breath, and start the day.
Do physical exercises
Morning is the best time to exercise. And it's a big mistake to refuse to exercise after waking up.
Many of us go to bed and mentally plan our morning workout, but when the day starts, the "right" thought disappears. And to compensate for the "loss", we usually promise ourselves during the day, and most often nothing comes of it.
What to do: Learn to "turn on" your will in the morning. And for more motivation, put a tracksuit in a prominent place. Don't hesitate to put it on and start exercising.
