Tottenham Striker Richarlison Confirms Commitment to Spurs Over Saudi Move

Richarlison, Tottenham Hotspur's forward, has confirmed that he will stay with the club despite recent offers from Saudi Arabia, BBC reported. The Brazilian striker, who joined Spurs from Everton in 2022 for a club-record fee of £60m, has decided to remain in England to boost his prospects of continuing his international career with Brazil.

Richarlison's Commitment to Tottenham and the Premier League

At 27, Richarlison has rejected the lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia. "The money is big, but my dreams are bigger," he told ESPN Brazil. "My dream of playing for the Brazilian national team and in the Premier League speaks louder," he added, reiterating his commitment to Tottenham.

Since joining Tottenham, he has recorded 15 goals and 8 assists in 66 appearances. However, he was not a regular starter last season under Ange Postecoglou. Richarlison's current contract keeps him at the club until 2027.

Tottenham's Striker Search

Meanwhile, Tottenham is exploring options to enhance their attacking lineup. They have shown interest in Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke, who scored 21 goals in 42 games last season. Although the Cherries are keen to retain Solanke, he has a £65m release clause in his contract, which has three years remaining. Tottenham, however, values him at a lower price.
