In a bold and innovative move, Saudi Arabia plans to construct a groundbreaking stadium for the upcoming 2034 World Cup, The Times reported. The Neom Stadium, located a staggering 350 meters above ground in the yet-to-be-built city of Neom, is set to awe spectators with its futuristic design and unparalleled features. This stadium, which will only be accessible through driverless vehicles and high-speed lifts, is on track to redefine the sporting experience.
Neom, an impressive 106-mile-long "indoor city" comprised of parallel skyscrapers, is currently under construction in the desert. Its unique architecture became an ideal location to erect this exceptional stadium, featuring state-of-the-art LED panels that will adorn a 45,000-seater venue built into a captivating cliff edge in Riyadh. Within the Neom project, there are ambitious plans for mass and personal transport systems to facilitate seamless movement within the city's vast expanse. Notably, this bid for the Saudi World Cup encompasses not only visionary stadiums but also the renovation of four existing Saudi Pro League stadiums, alongside the construction of 11 brand new venues.
