A study from the National Cyber Security Centre revealed that "123456" remains a common password choice for 23.2 million accounts worldwide. Frequently, personal information like birthdays or names is used in passwords, making them easy targets for attackers through social engineering or open-source intelligence. The widespread practice of reusing passwords across multiple sites further exacerbates security risks.
