Garmin launches four new dash cams to record and capture everything on the road
Garmin has introduced four new dash cam models, giving you a broader selection for recording everything that happens with your vehicle. Our best dash cam guide might need an update soon, as these new offerings come with varying features and prices.
Leading the new lineup is the Garmin Dash Cam X310, which features a 2.4-inch LCD display, 4K Ultra HD video quality, built-in GPS, and advanced driver awareness alerts. These alerts can notify you of nearby speed cameras and warn you of potential front collisions.
For a more budget-friendly option, the Dash Cam X110 and Dash Cam X210 are available. These models are similar to the X310 but offer maximum video resolutions of 1080p and 1440p, respectively. The Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3 rounds out the series with a smaller form factor—roughly the size of a car key—making it less distracting while driving. This model also supports 1080p video recording but lacks a display for added compactness.
One of Garmin’s standout features is voice command support, allowing you to control functions like starting and stopping video recordings without taking your eyes off the road. Additionally, Garmin has incorporated a Clarity polarizer lens to reduce windshield glare, enhancing the probability of recording clear evidence in case of an accident or vandalism.
For additional capabilities, you can download the Garmin Drive app to your smartphone, enabling you to sync feeds from up to four Garmin dash cams. This feature is particularly useful if you decide to extensively invest in vehicle surveillance technology.
All four models are now available on the Garmin website. They are priced at $149.99/£149.99 for the Dash Cam Mini 3, $199.99/£199.99 for the X110, $299.99/£259.99 for the X210, and $399.99/£349.99 for the X310.
