New Dyson Airwrap: Personalized Styling at Your Fingertips

The innovative Dyson Airwrap i.d. brings a new level of smart to hairstyling, teaming up with your smartphone to offer the ultimate personalized experience.

Since its debut in 2018, the Dyson Airwrap has been a favorite among haircare enthusiasts, and now it’s back, smarter than ever with the Dyson Airwrap i.d.—Dyson's first connected beauty gadget. In the new MyDyson app, users can customize their hair profile by specifying their hair type, length, and skill level. The app then recommends the best curling routine, which the Airwrap i.d. executes seamlessly at the push of a button via Bluetooth.

This app not only fine-tunes your styling but also maintains your device by offering insights into the filter status, cleaning guidance, and fault notifications. Additionally, a new white LED on the device will flash to remind you when it's time to clean the filter if you forget to check the app.

Apart from these smart features, the Airwrap i.d. retains the beloved intelligent heat control and Coanda airflow technology found in its predecessors, ensuring minimal hair damage while delivering professional-level results. Complementing these are three new attachments: a conical barrel for more defined curls, the Wave+Curl diffuser to enhance natural waves, and a blade concentrator for a smooth finish via a concentrated jet of air.

The new model builds on the success of its 2022 update, which introduced bi-directional curling barrels and a flyaway attachment. Despite the hefty price, the Airwrap has remained highly coveted. Even with plentiful imitations on the market, nothing quite compares to the ease and efficiency of the original Airwrap, a favorite for nearly a year among users.

The enhanced features of the Dyson Airwrap i.d., combined with the new attachments and app capabilities, could significantly distance it from competitors, especially benefiting users with a variety of hair types. Particularly, those with curly and coily hair are likely to see marked improvements.
