Aaron Judge and Samantha Bracksieck Expecting Their First Child
New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge is preparing for fatherhood, according to reports. Page Six revealed on December 26 that Judge and his wife, Samantha Bracksieck, are anticipated to welcome their first child – a baby girl. The couple, known for their privacy, has not yet confirmed this exciting news. Us Weekly attempted to contact Judge’s representatives and the Yankees for a comment.
Judge and Bracksieck began their relationship in high school while attending Linden High School in California. Following his graduation in 2010, Judge pursued his professional career in baseball. Reports indicate that he reconnected with Bracksieck in 2019, advancing their relationship further. While they did not officially announce an engagement, rumors circulated in 2021 after Bracksieck was seen with a ring on her finger. In December 2021, they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Hawaii.
Speculation about Judge entering this new chapter intensified in October. Baseball fans observed Bracksieck at the American League Championship Series, seemingly displaying a baby bump. She appeared on the field shortly after the Yankees eliminated the Cleveland Guardians, according to shared photos on X, which have since been taken down.
Though the couple generally avoids public discussions about their relationship, they occasionally make appearances together. A notable moment came in July 2022 when Judge expressed gratitude for the support of Yankees fans via Instagram, showcasing his love for Bracksieck.
In the same interview, Judge shared how his wife contributed to his $360 million contract with the Yankees. He described a memorable night when they discussed his future while preparing for a flight to celebrate their wedding anniversary in Hawaii. "We were just staying up late," said Judge, explaining their conversation about different offers from teams.
Bracksieck encouraged him to contact Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner, leading Judge to express his desire to stay in New York, requesting just one more year in his contract. Eventually, he learned he would be named the Yankees' 16th captain.
