Adam Levine Announces His Kids Are Maroon 5 Fans and Their Favorite Pop Star
Adam Levine, the lead singer of Maroon 5, says that his children are huge fans of his music. Levine's children, daughters Dusty Rose, 8, and Gio Grace, 6, along with his 2-year-old son, know every song he has ever written. According to Levine, they participate actively in their father's musical journey, enjoying his concerts and Maroon 5's extensive catalog, PEOPLE reported.
"They adore the shows and know everything," Levine states. "They know every single song I've ever written in my life and the entire catalog." Despite their admiration for Maroon 5, Levine admits his kids also have a favorite pop star.
Levine describes their musical world as mostly being influenced by Olivia Rodrigo. "Basically, their world is Olivia Rodrigo and Maroon 5," he reveals. "I’m cool with that. I don’t know how long that’s going to last, but I’ll enjoy it every step of the way."
Levine shares his three children with his wife, Behati Prinsloo, with whom he has been married for ten years. Since becoming a father, Levine reflects on how his perspective has shifted. "I've softened a lot," he shares. "I cry every day. I've always been pretty keyed in with my emotions." He also adds, nearly in jest, "And I’m more tired."
Despite potential sleep deprivation with three young children, Levine treasures time spent with his kids. "I love being near them. I love to watch each step they take," he explains. As they grow, he acknowledges how much he values precious moments together: "You miss when they're tiny, and then they get bigger. It's this amazing, never-ending movie."
As 2025 begins, Levine is set to juggle many responsibilities. He returns as a coach on season 27 of The Voice and is booked for numerous international performances. His busy schedule even includes an eight-show Las Vegas residency with Maroon 5. Levine describes the emotional challenges he faces when leaving his children for work.
"It’s fun, but it’s heartbreaking; I hate leaving," he admits. Having children has given him motivation for his career. Now he emphasizes the purpose behind his hard work: "I tell them every time I have to leave that I’m doing this for you guys, which is true."
Additionally, Levine highlights a newfound focus in his career that is fueled by his responsibilities as a dad. He finds joy in striving for a key objective: ensuring his kids have happy lives. "If I can raise happy kids that love their lives, then I am a success," he confidently states. "I will officially be the luckiest person in the world."
