Adam Scott recently shared his humorous struggles with keeping the secrets of "Severance" under wraps from his family. The actor, known for his role in the hit Apple TV+ series, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! just before the show's finale. He discussed the lengths he had to go to prevent spoilers from leaking to his family during the filming of season two.

Scott explained that during early production, he found himself needing to escape from his family's curiosity. "I had to tell my wife, Naomi, some things because there were juicy details," he said. He felt compelled to share plot secrets, such as Helena being undercover as Helly, but worried his wife would not forget them for the future.

He remarked on the challenge of maintaining secrecy. "I just had to tell someone because it was so juicy," he noted. However, despite his assurances that she would forget, she surprisingly remembered the details. To protect his family from further spoilers, Scott often conducted meetings in different rooms or even in closets. This strategy helped ensure his wife and their two teenage children — daughter Frankie and son Graham — missed out on any reveals from his Zoom calls with the show’s creatives.

In a light-hearted comment, Scott added that his family was particularly interested in this show, unlike past projects, making them even more eager to learn the stories.

While Scott usually keeps details about his family private, he has praised his wife publicly on social media. In 2021, for Mother's Day, he posted heartfelt messages celebrating her. Along with family photos, he described her as "brilliant, hilarious & beautiful." He acknowledged her important role as a mother, expressing gratitude for her support while he navigated parenting during the Zoom era.

Scott concluded with a joke about granting his wife an extended Mother's Day celebration. His playful comments reveal both his devotion to his family and his commitment to keeping secrets about his engaging new show.
