Adele Ends Las Vegas Residency with Heartfelt Messages
During the final show of her Las Vegas residency, "Weekends With Adele," held at Caesars Palace on Nov. 23, Adele shared emotional tributes. She acknowledged her son, Angelo, her fiancé, Rich Paul, and her devoted fans.
Adele expressed her deep love on the closing night. While interacting with the audience, she paid heartfelt tribute to her 14-year-old son. "To my son, I chose to do a residency maybe because I f--king hate touring," a tearful Adele revealed. "I did this so I could keep his life normal." She affirmed her commitment to spending weekends with him due to her busy schedule.
Adele shifted her focus to Rich, saying, "To my partner Rich, thank you for always bigging me up." She indicated that he supports her even during her toughest days. "There have been times when I feel too tired or emotionally drained," she expressed.
The artist began her Las Vegas journey in November 2022 after some initial delays. Adele reflected on a significant moment when Céline Dion attended one of her performances. "I cried for a whole week. A whole week," she mentioned, noting how that encounter was a full-circle moment, affirming her aspirations.
Previously, Adele announced her intention to take a break from performing following her Las Vegas shows. While in Munich, she remarked, "I've really enjoyed performing." This marked her longest continuous performance stint, lasting three years.
She underscored her plans for a prolonged absence. After completing her final ten shows in Vegas, she stated, "I will not see you for an incredibly long time." Adele reiterated her affection for her audience during this impending hiatus, emphasizing their importance in her life.
