Alec Baldwin and Hilaria's Cat Dilemma

Hilaria Baldwin refused to let husband Alec Baldwin’s allergy prevent their family from getting cats.

In a clip from Us Weekly featuring "The Baldwins" series premiere, Alec, 66, shared a revealing experience about his allergy. "In 1983, I stayed with my friend Ronnie in Los Angeles. He had cats, and I noticed huge tumbleweeds of cat hair under my futon," he described.

While Alec spoke, the camera focused on Hilaria, 41, who appeared amused by his recounting. He revealed that his allergy revelation stemmed from a severe asthma attack. "I ended up in the hospital and received a shot of epinephrine. I told Hilaria, ‘We can’t have cats ever,’" he recalled. "Then she went out and got four cats!"

Now, Alec encounters cats at every turn. He humorously noted, "Everywhere I go, there’s a cat. They greet me, and I’m just like, ‘S—.’"
