Alexis Bellino Confirms Exit from 'Real Housewives of Orange County'
Alexis Bellino will not be returning for the 19th season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." She confirmed her departure during the December 20 episode of the "Going Rogue" podcast, which she guest hosted.
"I was not asked back next season," Bellino, 47, stated. Her previous conflicts with castmate Shannon Storms Beador, 60, contributed to her feelings about the situation. Bellino expressed that the news was somewhat expected. "I can’t say it came as a shock, it did not come as a shock," she revealed.
Bellino described the conversation as tough. She wasn't prepared for the call regarding her status because she thought contracts were not due yet. "It was a shock when the call came, but I was never shocked about that information." She had previously returned to the Housewives franchise as a "friend" after a decade away.
Bellino’s first stint began in season 4 (2008), and she left during season 8. Reflecting on her past experiences, she noted, "It was a little bit of a relief. I mean nobody wants the rejection, and no one wants to [hear] you’re not asked back." She has faced similar disappointments before.
Recurring conflicts with Shannon Storms Beador marked season 18. Their feud intensified when Bellino dated Beador’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen. They broke up in 2022. However, Bellino and Janssen became engaged in August 2023.
In November, Shannon Storms Beador spoke with *Us Weekly* and expressed her feelings towards filming with Bellino. "I was on Nick Viall’s podcast, and he asked, ‘What will you do if Alexis is back on the show?’ My answer was, ‘I’m not filming with Alexis ever again,’" Storms Beador recalled.
While she hopes to return for season 19, she emphatically stated, "But if Alexis Bellino comes back, sorry, not gonna be around [her]." Every participant has a unique journey on the program, shifting the dynamics as conversations evolve.
