Ali Fedotowsky Announces Husband Kevin Manno’s Thyroid Cancer Is ‘Totally Gone’ After Surgery

Ali Fedotowsky provided an uplifting update concerning her husband, Kevin Manno, who faced thyroid cancer, US Weekly reported.

"The surgery was successful, and they only had to remove half! We initially went in unsure whether the entire thyroid would need removal," Fedotowsky, age 40, wrote on Instagram on February 28. "Fortunately, it did not spread to his lymph nodes, which is the best possible outcome."

Fedotowsky and Manno, age 41, announced in January that Manno had been diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer, prompting the need for surgery.

"I'm happy to share that his thyroid pathology report returned negative results! This means the cancer is entirely gone," Fedotowsky shared. "After the operation, they examined the thyroid, confirming they removed all necessary margins."

She added, "We are thrilled with the results, and he is on a smooth recovery path! Once we finalize his medication dose, we’ll progress further. Today, we received the wonderful news that Kevin's pathology report was negative."

According to Fedotowsky, her husband is now "officially cancer-free."

Fedotowsky and Manno are observing how Manno's remaining half of the thyroid affects his daily life.

"He will likely require medication for the rest of his life, but right now, it's a waiting game," she explained in her post. "Thank you for all the support! @kevinmanno and I truly appreciate it!"

Manno's cancer diagnosis followed a 2024 Prenuvo full-body MRI scan, which identified two suspicious spots on his thyroid. Subsequent tests confirmed the existence of cancer.

Fedotowsky previously stated, "The surprising aspect is that he exhibited absolutely ZERO symptoms, and his blood results were normal." She emphasized the significance of having attentive medical professionals and following up on health indicators.

"Kevin still feels completely healthy and in peak condition. All his bloodwork during annual check-ups has remained perfect, with no throat irregularities," she noted.

Fedotowsky and Manno have been married since 2017 and are proud parents to daughter Molly, age 8, and son Riley, age 6.
