All About Elon Musk's Daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, shares daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson with Canadian author Justine Musk. Vivian has publicly stated her discontent with her father. In a March 2025 interview with Teen Vogue, she said, "I don't give a f--- about him. It's annoying that people associate me with him. I just don't have any room to care anymore."

Born on April 15, 2004, Vivian is one of Elon and Justine's children, joining her twin brother, Griffin. Their birth followed the tragic loss of their first child, Nevada Alexander, who died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at 10 weeks in 2002. Vivian also has triplet brothers, Kai, Saxon, and Damian, and half-siblings from Elon’s other relationships. In a light-hearted moment with Teen Vogue, she commented that she isn’t sure how many siblings she actually has. In total, Elon Musk has 14 children with four women.
Since 2020, Vivian has been estranged from her father. Upon turning 18, she legally changed her name, wishing to sever ties with him.
Vivian and Griffin grew up in Los Angeles, where Vivian became aware of the stark contrast between her family’s wealth and the homelessness in the city. She expressed this concern in her 2025 Teen Vogue interview, stating, "You wonder, How is this fair? It's not. There’s no reason for some to own multiple private planes while others sleep on the street."

In 2020, Vivian publicly came out through an Instagram post, later sharing that she wished she had informed her mother first. However, she noted that Justine has been very supportive of her transition and even influenced her name choice. Vivian said, "She is a published writer... which is where I get my Vivian-isms, of being cringe and chronically online. She just said, ‘Yeah, honey. Okay.’"
On the other hand, Elon has not been as supportive. In a 2024 interview, he claimed he was "tricked" into permitting her gender-affirming care at 16. Vivian refuted those claims, asserting that Elon knew the full side effects of her treatment. On Threads, she wrote that his memories of her childhood "completely made up" are inaccurate since he "quite simply wasn’t there."
Vivian relocated outside the United States to study French, Spanish, and Japanese, aspiring to become a translator. As of 2025, she lives in Tokyo. With her growing online presence, she is exploring other career options, including modeling and Twitch streaming, as well as her "absolute dream job" on a reality show.
"I haven't made any money from being famous at all... I live in a lot of people's heads rent-free," she shared. "It is my absolute dream to be on a reality show, which I know is absolutely pathetic." As a self-described dramatic queer, she expressed her love for reality shows immensely.
