Ally Lewber Reacts Following James Kennedy's Arrest

Ally Lewber, the girlfriend of Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy, has made her first public statement after his arrest for suspected domestic violence. Their relationship has lasted nearly three years.

On December 14, a few days after the arrest, Lewber expressed gratitude to her supporters via Instagram Stories. "Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me," the 28-year-old stated. "I'm okay and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time."

James Kennedy, whose full name is James Kennedy Georgiou, was arrested on December 10 at a home in Burbank, California. He faces a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery involving a spouse or cohabitant. An unidentified woman stated that her boyfriend lifted her and threw her to the ground, according to the arrest log provided.

After his arrest, the 32-year-old was released on a $20,000 bond, as indicated in the Los Angeles jail records. Following the incident, Kennedy's legal team spoke in his defense. They stated, "We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James." They highlighted that there were no reported injuries and expressed hope that the city’s attorneys would choose not to file formal charges after their review.

Just hours before the arrest, Kennedy attended Kathy Hilton's DIRECTV holiday party in Beverly Hills with Ally, alongside other Bravo reality personalities. The day after the alleged incident, Lewber was seen at Windsor's holiday party in Los Angeles, where she appeared cheerful while posing for photos.

The timing of this arrest comes just weeks after Bravo announced significant changes to the Vanderpump Rules cast, planning to introduce new faces for the upcoming 12th season. Reflecting on his journey with the show in a November 26 Instagram post, Kennedy wrote, "It’s been a wild ride and I’m excited to see what the future holds. Although this is a bittersweet ending, for me, this is just the beginning! THANK YOU."
