'Angel' David Boreanaz Had a Hard Time on His First Day of Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Buffy the Vampire Slayer's first episode, directed by Charles Martin Smith and aired on March 10, 1997, proved challenging for actor David Boreanaz, who portrayed Angel. According to Smith, Boreanaz appeared "terrified" and inexperienced on set due to minimal prior acting credits. Parallel to Boreanaz's journey, Michelle Trachtenberg, who portrayed Dawn Summers in over 60 episodes, recently passed away at 39 following complications from a liver transplant.
