Ariana Madix Expresses Desire for Broadway Return and Self-Acceptance at 40
"I would love to go back to Broadway. I’m turning 40 in 2025, so I’m manifesting this right now," Madix, 39, revealed at TheWrap’s Power Women Summit on December 3. She wishes to feel the confidence many women experience during this age transition. "I want to feel that sense of being comfortable with myself, which I don’t think I’ve fully felt yet," US Weekly reported.
Earlier this year, Madix made her Broadway debut, stepping into the role of Roxie Hart from January to March. She returned to perform in August, reflecting on her experiences with gratitude. After her 100th performance, she expressed appreciation for achieving such a prominent role.
With a milestone birthday approaching in June, Madix is enthusiastic and optimistic. "I feel great," shared the Something About Her entrepreneur. "After nearly 15 to 20 years in this industry, I feel like I’m stepping into myself and discovering my beliefs and passions."
A supportive team surrounds Madix, bringing her a sense of empowerment over her life path. Among them is her boyfriend, Daniel Wai. The couple began dating in 2023 after Madix’s split from Tom Sandoval due to his cheating scandal.
Madix described Daniel as someone who truly appreciates her. "I’ve never met anyone who feels about me as he does," she said. "He views me as beautiful, funny, and intelligent."
His constant encouragement and support make all the difference for Madix. She feels that having such a partner eases her stress and worry, providing a sense of calm and reassurance.
When asked about marriage plans, Madix remained uncertain, stating she "[doesn't] know" if wedding bells are on the horizon.
