Baron Corbin Praises Taylor Swift for Creating a Family Atmosphere in the Chiefs Suite
Baron Corbin, a devoted Kansas City Chiefs supporter, was thrilled to join Taylor Swift in Travis Kelce’s game-day suite, US Weekly reported. On the podcast "Insight With Chris Van Vliet," he shared his experience from January 23, 2025, elaborating on his budding friendship with Kelce. "Travis and I are like buds now," said Corbin, 40, recalling how they reconnected during a local charity event, Big Slick KC. Kelce had invited him to a game, saying, "Let me treat you to a game and stay in my suite."
Corbin accepted the invitation and brought along his uncle and brother to enjoy a game in 2024. "As we arrived at the suite, my brother asked, ‘I wonder if Taylor’s going to be here.’ Just as he said that she walked into the room," he remembered. The pop star immediately approached them, hugging each person and creating an instant feeling of family.
Swift, 35, has been dating Kelce, 35, since the summer of 2023. Her presence at games has caused excitement at Arrowhead Stadium and beyond. Corbin described the surreal experience saying, "It was crazy because I felt like I was in a fishbowl and wanted out of the suite." He had not seen such fandom before, with crowds taking selfies of Swift. "You felt like everyone in the stadium is staring at you because you're standing behind her."
Despite the frenzy surrounding her, Corbin found Swift to be "super dope and super humble." He noted their interactions were relaxed since Swift attended the game with only her security guard. He described the group as "Kelce’s buddies from high school," emphasizing their approachable and humble nature.
After the game, Corbin and his family received an invitation to Swift and Kelce’s holiday party. "Travis threw a little Christmas party, and we hung out," he shared. "Taylor's just a regular human being who is probably the most influential person in the world right now. It's refreshing to see someone so talented who writes all her own stuff."
Swift has openly supported Kelce’s NFL endeavors, showing pride in their relationship while keeping their love public. As she expressed in a TIME interview, "We’re showing up for each other, and we don’t care." The couple enjoys celebrating each other's passions without hiding their connection from the world.
