Looking back, Jakob informed Total Guitar about how his rock star childhood impacted his desire to become a musician. However, he realized his dedication to music later in life.

Despite initially attempting college, Jakob quickly recognized that music was his true calling. He eventually found a musical home with Jakob Danger, whose debut EP was launched in 2015.

While acknowledging his father's musical background, Jakob stated his sound is distinctly separate. His current projects, including the band "Ultra Q," reflect his individual style. Whether with Ultra Q or performing at the Shaky Knees Festival with Billie, Jakob continues to establish his identity as a musician, proudly sharing performances on social media.
