Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Attend Red Carpet Together Amid Legal Issues

Amid Blake Lively's legal challenges with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, she joined husband Ryan Reynolds at the SNL 50: The Anniversary Special.

The couple was visibly happy as they walked the red carpet hand-in-hand. Lively, 37, looked stunning in a silver gown, even sharing a candid moment backstage with friend Dakota Johnson. Meanwhile, Reynolds, 48, opted for a classic suit at this milestone celebration for Saturday Night Live, broadcasted on NBC and Peacock. 

Addressing Recent Legal Tensions

This appearance marks the couple's first joint red carpet event since Lively's allegations against Baldoni. She accused him of sexual harassment related to their work on the It Ends With Us adaptation, leading to a lawsuit filed in December.

In response, Baldoni denied the allegations and filed a countersuit, claiming Lively and Reynolds sought to undermine his role as director. He alleged they initiated a smear campaign to divert attention from their actions.

Recent Developments

In late January, Baldoni’s legal team released a 10-minute behind-the-scenes video from the film set. They aimed for the footage to counter Lively’s claims, hoping it would "refute Ms. Lively’s characterization."

Contrarily, Lively’s attorneys argued that the video aligned with her allegations and described its release as an ethical violation meant to influence public perception. Following these events, Lively and Reynolds have sought to impose a gag order on Baldoni's legal representatives.
