Blake Lively Surprises Fans by Working Behind the Counter at a Connecticut Donut Shop

On March 30, Blake Lively delighted fans by working at a donut shop in Wilton, Connecticut, PEOPLE reported. This charming moment coincided with her ongoing legal issues related to the film "It Ends with Us."
Lively, 37, shared her joyful experience on Instagram. "Baking with genius food friends and their kitchen mixer the size of a car," she wrote, expressing how much she enjoyed being in her "happy place." A source informed PEOPLE that she was "in a really happy mood" and mentioned her friendship with the shop owner.
During her visit, Lively engaged with patrons, including a father and son. The father pointed out to his child, "Her husband is Deadpool," referring to Ryan Reynolds's popular role.

Blake Lively has long expressed her passion for baking and often shares her creations on social media. Earlier this year, Ryan Reynolds, 48, highlighted cupcakes decorated to resemble dogs on Instagram, tagging his wife in the post.
Reynolds's creative image featured six cupcakes displayed on a platter, soundtracked by Rosemary Clooney’s "How Much Is That Doggie in the Window." He also included animated dog and baking emojis in his post.

Lively's sweet outing follows her recent legal troubles concerning "It Ends with Us," which premiered in August 2024. Late last year, she filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against director and co-star Justin Baldoni, producer Jamey Heath, and others.
In retaliation, Baldoni, 41, filed a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, their publicist, and The New York Times. The former co-stars have been involved in legal disputes, with a trial scheduled for March 9, 2026.
