Bob Dylan Announces 2025 Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour, Names First Stops

Bob Dylan is embarking on his 2025 tour with unexpected venue selections, bypassing major cities for stops in less-visited locations across Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin, and his native Minnesota. The tour, part of his ongoing "Rough and Rowdy Ways" series initiated in 2021, is set to commence on March 25 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the Tulsa Theater, where tickets are presently available on Dylan's website. Supplementary performances will take place on March 29 at Wichita’s Century II Concert Hall, April 4 in Mankato at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center, and on April 6 at The Weidner-Cofrin Family Hall in Green Bay, with ticket sales commencing for these dates on January 31 and February 1, for Mankato. This tour marks Dylan's return to the stage following the success of "A Complete Unknown," a celebrated biopic directed by James Mangold, and featuring Timothée Chalamet as Dylan. Responding warmly to Chalamet's portrayal in the film, Dylan commented via social media, encouraging audiences not only to watch the film but also to read "Dylan Goes Electric!" by Elijah Wald, a source for the movie. Celebrated as a meticulous depiction of Dylan’s early career climaxing in his iconic 1965 Newport Folk Festival performance, the film has received eight Oscar nominations, including for Best Picture and Best Actor.

Since its inception in 1988, Dylan's "Never Ending Tour" has reached countless global audiences. In 2021, Dylan intermixed his concerts with new material from "Rough and Rowdy Ways," supplemented during other tours by choosing different takes on classics for extra excitement.
