Brianna Chickenfry Denies Dave Portnoy Paid Her $10 Million for Zack Bryan Podcast Discussion
Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia is clearing the air. She addressed allegations that Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy paid her $10 million to discuss her breakup with Zach Bryan on the latest "BFFs" podcast. During the show, LaPaglia, 25, brought forth serious accusations against the country artist, claiming he emotionally abused her. She further noted that Bryan offered her $12 million for signing a nondisclosure agreement.
"I see a lot of people saying, 'Well, Dave definitely just gave her $10 million for a tell-all, so she took the money,'" LaPaglia stated in a TikTok video on Saturday, November 9. "Dave didn’t give me any money."
She elaborated on her perspective, emphasizing, "A tell-all? You think that was a tell-all? I took the high road. What I did was set a scene, paint a picture... If you can’t see that very clear picture, I don’t have time to hold your hand and guide you."
Following her October breakup with Bryan, 28, and their separation from the Massachusetts home they shared, LaPaglia revealed her financial struggles. "I’m losing money right now. I’m paying for storage, movers, and flights back and forth to New York in search of an apartment," she explained.
Last month, Bryan confirmed that he and LaPaglia had ended their year-long relationship. "Brianna and I have broken up, and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a long time, and I’ll always be grateful," he shared in an Instagram Story statement in October. "This year has been very hard for me personally. I thought it beneficial for both of us to go our separate ways. I am not perfect and never will be."
Previously, LaPaglia expressed that Bryan’s decision to speak publicly about their split "blindsided" her.
In the Thursday, November 7 episode of the "BFFs" podcast, co-hosted with Portnoy and Josh Richards, LaPaglia alleged emotional abuse during their relationship. "The last year of my life has been the hardest, dealing with the abuse from this dude. I’m scared of him; my brain’s rewired," she stated. "I didn’t want to share this last week because I was scared."
Addressing the situation regarding the alleged NDA, she said, "I still said f--- your money. You made the women before me believe they had no choice. They took money from you, signing away their experiences, while you escape and perform like you’re a good guy."
