Brianna LaPaglia Shines in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Debut After Zach Bryan Split
Last year, the podcast host, age 25, was invited to host the red carpet at the magazine's 60th anniversary celebration. However, she chose not to participate. Her decision stemmed from advice given by then-boyfriend Zach Bryan, who advised against the opportunity, claiming it seemed too "trashy" for her brand. Despite her desire to accept the job, LaPaglia revoked her commitment at the last minute.
Now single, she shines as a cover girl. LaPaglia expressed joy in her transformation, PEOPLE reported. "It's not just me looking hot in a swimsuit; it’s about reclaiming my identity, my body, and my choices," she stated. Following her high-profile breakup with Bryan, she emphasized the cover represents a personal reclamation. "This is my body; it doesn’t reflect anyone else’s decisions," LaPaglia declared.
In terms of personal fulfillment, LaPaglia revealed some delight in addressing Bryan through this achievement. She described it as her "favorite f--- you" on a petty level, stating, "This is me, and now I’m on the digital cover."
Photographed in La Quinta, California, by Katherine Goguen, LaPaglia showcased various swimsuits, artfully displaying her tattoos against a beach backdrop. Looking ahead to 2025, LaPaglia plans to hone her focus on podcasting rather than her influencer activities, especially amidst potential TikTok restrictions. She remarked humorously, "Let’s pop a bottle of champagne! I’m ready to get rid of this awful, hateful app."
LaPaglia and Bryan began dating after meeting in May 2023 but split in fall 2024, as confirmed by Bryan via Instagram Stories. Speaking on the BFFs Podcast in November, LaPaglia recounted the challenges of her relationship. She candidly shared, "The last year has been the hardest of my life due to the difficulties I faced."
She also revealed that Bryan asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement, offering a substantial amount, alongside a New York apartment. In refusing the offer, she chose to speak her truth.
In the aftermath of this breakup, LaPaglia has been candid about her experiences. Despite the emotional weight of sharing her story, she remarked on how healing it has been. "During my toughest times, being able to help others has been life-changing," she conveyed, highlighting her shift from lighthearted content to more meaningful interactions. LaPaglia's openness has provided support for others, making her journey incredibly rewarding.
Earlier, SSP reported that another Chinese app went viral in the US amid a possible TikTok ban.
