Brittany Mahomes Celebrates Patrick After Chiefs Claim AFC Championship: ‘See Y’all in New Orleans’
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes received a fervent celebration from his wife, Brittany Mahomes, on the field after their thrilling victory in the AFC Championship Game, PEOPLE reported.
Brittany, 29, took to Instagram on Sunday to share her excitement. She posted a photo from the sidelines where she warmly supported Patrick during the game. "We’re baaaaaack😎🔥," she wrote, showcasing her stylish furry coat and chic white boots.
In her Instagram Stories, Brittany posted various moments from the game, illustrating how the Chiefs secured their spot in the Super Bowl by narrowly defeating the Bills.
Brittany also shared an engaging photo highlighting Arrowhead Stadium bursting with confetti as fans reveled in the success. Another image displayed Patrick holding the team trophy, a moment of pride.
Expressing gratitude, Brittany dedicated her final post to fans: "Thank you for all your concerns with 15 this season, see ya’ll in New Orleans," she signed off, identifying herself as "his wife."
As reported by Sports Illustrated, Patrick had recently appeared on the Chiefs' injury list due to a sore ankle. Last month, he sustained a right ankle injury and departed early from a match against the Cleveland Browns.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed that the injury was not severe. "He’s just sore," Reid, 66, noted. He addressed the rehab protocol, indicating they would proceed with caution.
Brittany demonstrated her unwavering support for Patrick even after welcoming their third child, Golden Raye, just earlier this month. Barely a week post-delivery, she actively cheered for Patrick during a game against the Houston Texans.
The couple also has two other children: their daughter Sterling Skye, aged 3, and their son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III, aged 2.
