Brittany Mahomes Discusses Challenging Workout During Pregnancy
Brittany Mahomes has consistently prioritized staying active throughout her pregnancy. However, as she moves forward, one workout routine is becoming more challenging.
On November 8, Brittany, 29, shared workout clips via her Instagram Stories. She noted that step-ups have become increasingly difficult. "Step ups — the one workout that kills me the more pregnant I get," she wrote, including laughing emojis.
Despite the struggle with step-ups, Brittany enjoys other workouts, such as sumo squats with hand weights. "Sumo anything, sign me up," she commented in a separate clip shared on her Instagram Story.
Brittany and her husband, Patrick, 29, announced their third child in July. They have a daughter, Sterling, 3, and a son, Bronze, who turns 2 this November.
This isn’t the first time Brittany has shown her pregnancy fitness routine to her followers. In October, her fitness instructor, Kirsty Rae, provided insight into her training. Rae highlighted three key areas of focus to avoid "mom butt," a common issue during and after pregnancy.
"Many women experience ‘mom butt’ as their glutes lose shape," Rae explained. She laid out simple steps other expecting mothers can implement. "By focusing on glute engagement and maintaining strength training, you can continue to build muscle," she stated. The trainer emphasized the importance of proper movement and posture.
Brittany has openly described the challenges of her third pregnancy, stating it has been the toughest yet. In July, she candidly shared, "Good morning, just me and my skin that's losing its mind." She added, "This pregnancy has been the hardest on me … sickness, exhaustion, and now skin!"
Brittany and NFL star Patrick first met as teenagers and became engaged in 2020 after sharing eight years together. The couple wed in March 2022 and regularly update fans on their family journey.
This pregnancy will be the couple's last, as Patrick expressed in July. "I said three and I’m done," commented the quarterback during a Kansas City Chiefs press conference. He reflected on wanting to have kids young and appreciated Brittany's role in their family. "We’re on our third kid now, and we still go out and enjoy our life."
Earlier, SSP wrote that Patrick and Brittany Mahomes' son Bronze experienced a severe allergic reaction.
