Calvin Harris recently showcased a rugged transformation, featuring long hair and a scruffy beard. He teased his upcoming single, "Smoke the Pain Away," alongside this new appearance.

A single glance reveals just how different Calvin Harris looks now. The music producer exchanged his polished hairstyle and light stubble for a rugged look, showcased in a March 10 Instagram post. This image features him with shoulder-length dirty blonde hair and a full beard set against a lush forest backdrop. He opted for a cozy beige henley shirt paired with a green jacket.

In the post’s caption, the 41-year-old hinted at his musical revival, promoting a new song titled "Smoke the Pain Away." Set to release on March 14, the track appears to signify Calvin's venture into country music. This hypothesis stems from a teaser shared earlier on social media.

"Wide awake in a hotel room / Thinkin’, ‘Oh, what I could do,’" he sang in an Instagram video on March 5, strumming an acoustic guitar. "Too late, I’ve been up for days / I can’t even see straight / No, I can’t smoke the pain away."

This track is significant because Calvin, whose real name is Adam Wiles, typically does not feature his own vocals. He usually collaborates with artists like Rihanna, Sam Smith, and Dua Lipa for vocal hooks. Notably, he co-wrote the popular song "This Is What You Came For" with ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, who also provided backing vocals.

Despite the social media tensions following their breakup, Calvin holds no ill will toward his partner, Vick Hope. She openly shares her admiration for Swift.

"As soon as my husband goes away, I listen to Taylor Swift," Vick admitted during an April segment on her BBC Radio 1 show with Katie and Jamie. "That's when I get my little fill — just a little fill."
