Chelsea Handler and Ralph Fiennes Spark Romance Rumors After Oscars Party

Chelsea Handler, 50, and Ralph Fiennes, 62, have ignited romance rumors. They were seen leaving Vanity Fair’s Oscars party together on March 2. Photos, published by People on March 3, show Handler in a strapless silver gown with her long, wavy blond hair. Fiennes appeared in a black tuxedo, his jacket buttoned.
Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for comments from Handler and Fiennes. Earlier that day, Fiennes attended the Academy Awards as a Best Actor nominee for his role in *Conclave*. He lost the award to Adrien Brody, the star of "The Brutalist."
During her hosting stint at the Critics Choice Awards last month, Handler light-heartedly teased Fiennes. She joked that he "played a ruthless Nazi, an evil lord, and a celibate cardinal, and somehow you’ve made me want to have sex with you in all roles." She playfully added, "I’m begging you never play Vladimir Putin. I can’t do that again."

Handler also included Fiennes in another bit referencing Nicole Kidman’s famous milk-drinking scene in "Babygirl." She joked about getting a new "sexy intern," while Fiennes chimed in with "Good girl. Good girl. Good girl," maintaining the light mood.
Fiennes was married to actress Alex Kingston from 1993 to 1997 and later dated Francesca Annis. Meanwhile, Handler, who previously dated comedian Jo Koy, is in a new relationship. "I’m dating. Dating is wonderful," she told Us Weekly last month, without revealing her new partner's name. "Now, I understand what kind of date I am. I want lovers all around the world."

Handler emphasized her honesty with those she dates, stating she makes it clear that they might not be the only one. She noted, "Hopefully you don’t need to ask any further questions."
Handler shared that dependency doesn't work for her in romantic contexts. "I think an attractive quality in a man is to find small egos on men, men who have no egos," she explained. Currently, she’s dating someone without an enormous ego. "He’s very good at a lot of things, but he’ll never ever show you," Handler said.
She recounted a touching moment they recently shared. "The other day, he goes, ‘God, you know how lucky I am to be waking up next to you. Do you know how many men would die to wake up next to you?’" Handler wanted to respond humorously but instead appreciated the sentiment. "What a sweet thing to even think. Then a sweeter thing to say, because just by virtue of saying that to someone means that you don’t have a big ego."
