Chrishell Stause Intentionally Excludes Tom Sandoval from "Traitors" Season 3 Promotion
Chrishell Stause has made her feelings about Tom Sandoval clear.
In a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the "Selling Sunset" star confirmed that she left Sandoval out of her Instagram promotion for season 3 of "The Traitors." Responding to a fan inquiry on January 15, Stause, age 43, stated, "Yes, I did [intentionally leave him out]."
In November, she had shared promotional images and a trailer highlighting the cast, but notably absent was Sandoval, who is 42. "No, I don’t want him on my page," she told Cohen and fellow guest Lisa Barlow. Stause bluntly added, "I hate him."
Barlow, famous for "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City", interjected, stating, "Hate’s a strong word." Stause affirmed, saying, "Exactly."
While Stause did not specify her reasons for disliking Sandoval, she has publicly supported his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix, following their highly publicized split in 2023. The breakup was marred by Sandoval’s infidelity with Rachel "Raquel" Leviss.
In response to the affair, Sandoval issued a public apology to Madix through an Instagram post, expressing regret for his actions. He stated, "I want to first and foremost apologize to everyone I’ve hurt through this process." He emphasized, "I made mistakes, I was selfish and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love."
Despite his attempt to move forward, the exposure of his affair continues to have repercussions.
During the premiere of "Traitors" season 3, cast members Nikki Garcia and Gabby Windey visibly reacted when Sandoval arrived at the Scottish setting for filming. "Oh my gosh, do you see who it is?" Garcia asked Windey, to which she responded, "Is that Sandoval? I am not saying hi to him." Garcia laughed, enjoying Windey’s response: "I know, right?"
In that episode, Stause pondered whether Sandoval viewed her as suspicious due to her friendship with Madix. "Do you think it’s because I’m friends with Ariana and he knows that?" she questioned her fellow castmates. "That’s sabotage."
"Probably. That’s so not cool. That is sabotage," Garcia concurred.
