Christina Haack Updates on Life After Split from Josh Hall

On the latest episode of 'Christina on the Coast', Christina Haack shares how her life and that of her children have improved after her separation from Josh Hall. Speaking candidly to her long-time friend Cassie Schienle, Christina reveals details about her current well-being.

When asked if she feels like "a weight’s been lifted," Christina lights up and confidently states, "Because Josh is gone? Yes, a 220-lb. weight." She expresses relief, saying, "The house is so much better, the kids are so happy. Everyone in this household is thriving." Christina has a daughter, Taylor, 14, and a son, Brayden, 9, from her first marriage to Tarek El Moussa, along with son Hudson, 5, from her second marriage to Ant Anstead. "Everyone’s just doing better since he’s gone… just all that negative energy," she reflects.

Christina also discusses her efforts to save her marriage with Josh, 44. "I truly tried," she recalls, mentioning various approaches like suggesting house flipping and providing self-help tools. However, she acknowledges a crucial truth: "No matter what, you can’t make someone else happy; they can only make themselves happy."

Cassie offers her support, emphasizing, "There’s nothing you could’ve done." She praises Christina for stepping away from a toxic situation. "I’m proud of you because I know that wasn’t easy," she adds. Christina responds, recognizing the gravity of her situation: "Three divorces? Of course I didn’t want to get divorced for a third time."

Previously married to El Moussa from 2009 to 2016 and Anstead from 2018 to 2020, Christina has faced considerable challenges. Cassie advises her friend, "Look, I know you love a relationship. You love to be in love." The two share a moment of camaraderie, exchanging hugs, while Christina assures Cassie, "It’s all going to be fine. Appreciate you."

On her other HGTV show, 'The Flip Off', Christina reveals more about her marriage's impact on her kids. During an emotional discussion with El Moussa, she mentions a significant argument with Josh that involved "middle fingers in my face." Moreover, she shares that her children urged her to end the relationship. "The kids literally asked me to leave," Christina explains. "They told me he’s not nice to me. Why would I stick around?"

Christina and Josh officially split in July 2024, after nearly three years of marriage, with Josh citing "irreconcilable differences" as the grounds for divorce. He also requested spousal support. However, in October 2024, he denied claims of asking for $65,000 per month, labeling them as "false statements" on Instagram.

Since their divorce, both Christina and Josh have moved on to new relationships. Christina is currently dating businessman Christopher Larocca, while Josh is in a relationship with model Stephanie Gabrys.
