Christine Brown Explains the Guest List Choices for Her Wedding
Christine Brown recently married David Woolley, leaving off some notable names from her guest list. This included her former sister wives, Meri Brown and Robyn Brown, as well as her ex-husband, Kody Brown.
Despite ongoing wedding planning, Christine chose to keep her guest list intimate. While not officially engaged during the filming of the TLC series' October 27 episode, Christine and David were already arranging details for their special day. They spent significant time touring venues in Utah and considering various potential invitees.
"We’ll invite Janelle and her kids," Christine stated, referencing her sister wife, Janelle Brown. She added, "I am not ready to be around Meri and Robyn and Kody yet." This decision comes as Christine navigates the aftermath of her 2021 split from Kody, which also involved her daughters Aspyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely, as well as her son, Paedon.
After Christine’s exit, both Janelle and Meri decided to leave Kody, leaving Robyn as his only remaining wife. Kody reflected on rumors about Christine's new relationship, commenting, "I’ve heard rumors that he’s Christine’s soulmate." Kody expressed his feelings of offense about the idea of Christine remaining tied to him.
Christine remained firm about her wedding vision, aiming for a grand celebration with a significant guest count. Discussing numbers with a venue coordinator, she noted, "We’re thinking a minimum of 350," alluding to her extensive family, which collectively includes 18 children among her and David’s families.
Although David appeared open to a simple Las Vegas wedding, he prioritized gifting Christine a larger celebration. "Christine deserves to have a nice, big wedding," he noted during a joint confessional, expressing his wish to fulfill her dreams despite practical alternatives.
Their wedding ultimately took place in Moab, Utah. Janelle and most of their children attended the ceremony. After celebrating their first anniversary, Christine revealed exciting news. "We’re finally going on our honeymoon," she announced, with plans to leave on November 1.
