Claudia Jessie Joins Ed Sheeran in New Music Video

Claudia Jessie, known for her role in Bridgerton, stars as Ed Sheeran's girlfriend in the music video for his new song "Under the Tree." This track draws inspiration from Richard Curtis' upcoming film, That Christmas.

Recently, Claudia Jessie was seen in a different town as she took part in this project. In the November 26 music video, she portrays Ed's ex-girlfriend, longing for their shared past. The video depicts fond memories of warmth, gift shopping, and decorating a Christmas tree.

The story unfolds as Claudia arrives at Ed's home, allowing them to reunite. Details about the video were kept secret before its debut, although both Claudia and Ed hinted at their collaboration recently. Earlier in the week, Ed shared a behind-the-scenes sneak peek featuring both actors.

In a TikTok clip posted on November 25, Claudia is seen in the same turtleneck as in the video, lip-syncing to a Bridgerton voiceover outside. Ed makes a playful entrance, jumping on a trampoline dressed casually in a flannel and joggers.

Commenting on this heartwarming collaboration, Ed wrote, "Hands up who watches Bridgerton."

Claudia's role in "Under the Tree" holds great significance for Ed. He takes pride in writing a song for a movie his daughters, Lyra (4) and Jupiter (2), can enjoy. In a Digital Spy interview on November 26, Ed expressed his excitement about this aspect.

He shared, "Having kids, I struggle to find great movies for very young kids to watch at Christmas. This ticks all the boxes."

Ed concluded, "Hope everyone loves the song. The movie, That Christmas, premieres on December 4 on Netflix. My family and I adore it, and I believe yours will too."
