BoxLunch, the company that hosted the event where influencer Dominique Brown tragically died, has issued a heartfelt statement acknowledging her passing. Brown, age 34, died on December 5 reportedly due to an allergic reaction during a Los Angeles food event organized by BoxLunch.

In an Instagram post on December 13, BoxLunch expressed their devastation. "We are devastated by her sudden and tragic passing. She was a beloved member of the BoxLunch Collective and brought joy to all whose lives she touched," the company stated.

BoxLunch emphasized their commitment to helping those affected by her death, including Brown’s family and loved ones. They stated they are providing grief counseling for the team and others impacted "during this painful time."

The company confirmed that they are actively investigating the tragic circumstances surrounding Brown's death. This occurred at an event hosted at Vibiana, a venue in Los Angeles.

However, BoxLunch noted they have not yet received the requested information from the venue operators to create a detailed understanding of the events that unfolded that night. "As we learn more, we plan to share this information with Dominique's family," they indicated.

Brown, a Disney enthusiast, reportedly experienced a medical emergency after consuming food she was assured did not contain allergens. Initial reports from a BoxLunch representative on December 7 stated that she "suffered a medical emergency" during the event.

Witnesses claimed she inquired about the presence of peanuts in the food. They asserted that staff told her it was safe to eat. Tragically, Brown started feeling unwell shortly after eating the food.

Her final Instagram post, shared on December 4, featured a video from a Disney Store visit, a reflection of her passion for the franchise. BoxLunch conveyed their deep sympathies, stating they would do all they could to honor her memory and support everyone affected by this tragedy.
