Devon Sawa Tired of Horror Movies, Expresses Desire to Star in Rom-Com

Devon Sawa is eager to explore a traditional romantic comedy following a successful stint in horror films. At 46, Sawa, known for roles in horror classics like "Idle Hands" and "Final Destination," expresses interest in broadening his cinematic repertoire. His latest project, "Heart Eyes," directed by Josh Ruben, endeavors to blend horror, rom-com elements, and comedy. Starring Olivia Holt as Ally, a determined advertising executive, and Mason Gooding as freelancer Jay, the film explores their budding but risky romance, especially with the looming threat of the Heart Eyes Killer—a notorious villain who murders couples on Valentine's Day.
