Emma Stone Hugs Ex Kieran Culkin at Post-2025 Oscars Party After His Big Win

Emma Stone and Kieran Culkin secured the title of friendliest exes following the 2025 Oscars. The former couple attended the Searchlight Pictures Post-Oscars Celebration at Cipriani Beverly Hills on March 2. They hugged warmly while chatting at this star-studded event, US Weekly reported.
Stone, 36, and Culkin, 42, later posed for a group photo with Culkin’s "A Real Pain" costar and director, Jesse Eisenberg, among others. Emma attended the party with her husband, Dave McCary. In a rare display of affection, she sat on McCary’s lap during the event. At the Oscars, Stone's other ex, Andrew Garfield, was also present, but their interaction remains unclear.

Culkin celebrated his Best Supporting Actor win with support from his wife Jazz Charton. He was seen kissing Charton’s cheek while holding his trophy proudly.
Culkin and Stone had crossed paths multiple times since their short romance began on the set of "Paper Man" in 2009. The exes enjoyed each other’s company at the 2022 Met Gala and met again at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, where both received awards; Stone won Best Actress for "Poor Things," and Culkin took home Best Actor in a Drama Series for "Succession."
The duo has also shown their collaborative dynamic. Both are credited as producers of "A Real Pain." Culkin expressed admiration for Stone during a January 2024 interview with E! News, stating, "She’s a really wonderful person." He appreciated her support behind the scenes, saying, "Entering a job, it’s nice to know someone like her is involved. It helps with confidence and teamwork."

Culkin’s performance in A Real Pain shined this awards season, earning nominations at the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, BAFTAs, and Oscars. His efforts concluded with his first-ever Academy Award win on Sunday.
During his acceptance speech, Culkin acknowledged his former "Succession" co-star Jeremy Strong, who was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor. "Jeremy, you are amazing in "The Apprentice." I love your work. It’s f—ing…" Culkin inadvertently cursed, quickly correcting himself, the moment leaving the audience in laughter. "I didn’t mean to," he added, "Anyway, you were great."
