Hayley Hasselhoff Reflects on Mother’s Death: "My Heart Is Shattered"

Hayley Hasselhoff has spoken out following the death of her mother, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, at 62.

On March 13, she shared her feelings on Instagram Stories. "Mom, both the rain tonight and your passing weigh heavily on my heart," she wrote. "I yearn for the day when rain symbolizes your spirit as it travels to heaven. Right now, all I feel is the ache of your absence." Hayley also mentioned, "My heart is shattered, but it feels complete knowing you are my best friend and my entire world."

Tragically, news revealed that Bach-Hasselhoff died by suicide. She leaves behind her daughters, Hayley, age 32, and Taylor, age 34. Bach-Hasselhoff was married to actor David Hasselhoff for 17 years before their divorce in 2006.

Hayley reminisced about her relationship with her mother. "You were my greatest support, as I was yours," she reflected. "Mornings are especially tough because I would instinctively reach for my phone to call you, regardless of the time or where I was. You were always there."

Navigating her grief has proven challenging for Hayley. "This yearning for you is unlike anything I've ever experienced. I need you to know I will love you in every way," she expressed. "I'm determined to be strong for you and to make you proud. Taylor and I will carry the pride you gave us and protect each other. The bond you nurtured will forever guide us."

Hayley’s heartfelt message continued, "I love you, Mama. The phrase ‘I love you’ will never be sufficient because my entire heart belongs to you, and it always will. I will love you through eternity."

Earlier, Hayley’s older sister Taylor expressed a similar deep affection. "I’d give anything to hug you one more time, my forever angel," she shared on her Instagram Stories on March 12. "You are my best friend, my whole heart, my everything. I promise to honor you daily. [My daughter] London will know the incredible person you were and I will protect Hayley for life."

Taylor, who has a daughter with husband Madison Fiore, has reportedly filed legal documents regarding her mother's estate. According to documents obtained by various outlets, Bach-Hasselhoff passed away without a will.
