Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt Provide Candid Life Update After L.A. Wildfires

Following the destruction of their Pacific Palisades home in the recent Los Angeles wildfires, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt shared their honest feelings with E! News.
Heidi and Spencer are focusing on daily challenges. After their home was lost in January, Spencer openly discussed their current emotional state. He stated, "I’d say ‘not good’ is the honest answer," during a fire relief workout event on February 22 in Santa Monica, California. Spencer expressed that the past two days felt particularly difficult for them. He noted, "I was so focused on Heidi's music success that I didn't have time to think about our situation."

Support has come from fans, who helped elevate Heidi’s 2010 album Superficial to No. 1 on iTunes. Despite this encouragement, Heidi remarked, "It still comes in waves." She recognized that even though some might consider their loss as old news, they still face a long, difficult recovery. "It’s going to take years to get our life back," she stated, expressing hope for the future.
The couple also talked about how the fire affected their son Gunner. He lost a cherished item during the tragedy. Spencer shared, "I didn't realize his favorite thing to look at was his photo from Universal Studios." The photo captured a moment from the Jurassic Park ride. Gunner expressed his fear of returning to that ride, reflecting on how much it meant to him.

Heidi and Spencer, who have another son named Ryker, are taking steps to help those impacted by the wildfires. They hosted a workout class in partnership with a local fitness studio to support community organizations. Heidi observed, "It keeps everything in perspective." Spencer added, "It’s going to take so many people to really bring the Palisades community back."
Their dedication to community recovery has gained recognition. Training Mate founder Luke Milton praised their efforts, stating, "Heidi and Spencer have been pioneers in generating positive outcomes." He emphasized their determination to help rebuild the community after this tragic incident.
