James Franco and Isabel Pakzad Make Rare Red Carpet Appearance at SNL 50

James Franco, aged 46, and his girlfriend Isabel Pakzad enjoyed a rare public appearance at the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary event. They walked the red carpet at New York's Rockefeller Center on February 16, showing their affection as they posed for photographs.

Franco wore a sharp black tuxedo, while Pakzad, 29, donned a grey tailored two-piece adorned with delicate floral patterns. The couple, who began dating in November 2017, rarely makes red carpet appearances. However, they attended the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in May to celebrate the premiere of "Kinds of Kindness," a film featuring Emma Stone and others.

In December 2021, Franco opened up about his past relationships on SiriusXM’s "The Jess Cagle Podcast." He discussed having a sex addiction that prevented him from being faithful to previous partners. Franco stated, "I cheated on everyone before Isabel," reflecting on how his career and pursuit of validation complicated his relationships. He explained, "As I climbed that mountain for success, attention from women became a source of validation for me."

In January 2018, five women accused Franco of sexually inappropriate behavior, as reported by The Los Angeles Times. Two former students of his filed a lawsuit in 2019, which he settled in 2021. Franco initially denied many allegations but admitted to engaging in consensual relationships with students. He clarified, "I surrendered to temptation but granted it was wrong," during the podcast discussion.

Franco also referenced his friendship with Seth Rogan. He indicated that their relationship has changed due to the allegations. As of October 2024, Franco acknowledged, "I haven’t talked to Seth. I love Seth, we had 20 great years together, but I guess it’s over. And not for lack of trying."
