James Patterson and MrBeast Collaborate on a New Thriller Novel

James Patterson and YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, have partnered to co-write a new thriller novel. Reportedly fetching an "eight-figure" bid for publishing, film, and TV rights, the book draws inspiration from the popular genre exemplified by Squid Game, a theme familiar in MrBeast’s YouTube content. This is prepared by SSP.
The untitled book's logline highlights intense and life-threatening tests held worldwide, with players striving to become 'The One.' This venture marks MrBeast's debut in the literary world, further expanding his creative endeavors beyond his highly subscribed YouTube channel and a Prime Video series, Beast Games. The series challenged 1,000 contestants with difficult physical and mental tasks for a chance to win a $5 million prize, eventually awarding a doubled prize of $10 million to a contestant named Jeffrey Randall Allen.
Patterson, a prolific author with a history of adaptations, has previously partnered with notable figures such as Bill Clinton, Dolly Parton, and Michael Crichton. He is renowned for his Alex Cross series and other books that have seen successful film and TV renditions. As the new novel garners excitement, Patterson and MrBeast are poised to deliver a captivating thriller consistent with their track records in storytelling and entertainment.
