Jason Kelce Responds to Rumor About Sleeping During Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

Jason Kelce addressed a rumor regarding his alleged nap during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert in Miami, Florida. He confirmed the details to his brother, Travis Kelce.

Former NFL player Jason Kelce defended his honor regarding the concert rumor. Reports claimed he fell asleep while attending the show, which was also the first for his mother, Donna Kelce, and daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte.

The speculation gained traction after Jason's friend, Beau Allen, posted a picture. The photo showed Jason sitting with his eyes closed, leading social media to assume he was dozing off.

"I was in the moment, tapping my thigh, listening to the music," Jason stated on the New Heights podcast on October 23. "I then went on Twitter and saw this picture and thought, ‘What the f--k?’ I wasn’t even sleeping, and I can prove it. This photo shows I’m wide awake."

He clarified that he had been dancing with Elliotte when she decided to sit with her mother. As it started to mist rain, he closed his eyes to immerse himself in the performance.

Travis noted that Jason enjoys closing his eyes during songs, saying, "You were just feeling the groove, huh?" Jason added proof of his consciousness. "You can’t sleep with your hand hovering over your knee!"

Jason sang praises for Taylor’s performance at the Miami show. He said it was incredible, possibly more so than the London concert. "The rain added another level," he remarked, recalling the thrilling moment when "Reputation" played and Taylor changed into a new outfit.

Travis shared his envy at being away during such an exciting event. "I felt all the FOMO in the world," he lamented about being separated from family and friends. He recognized Taylor's commitment, saying, "Shoutout to Tay Tay for powering through those rain shows."

Jason’s enthusiasm for the concert radiated as he urged Taylor to continue her excellence, declaring, "Keep killing it, Tay."
