Jason Kelce's Take on BBLs: A Natural Approach Is Better
While Brazilian butt lifts (BBLs) have gained popularity as a cosmetic surgery trend, Jason Kelce openly expressed his disapproval of the look. The retired NFL player stated his views during a conversation with his brother, Travis, on the October 16 episode of their "New Heights" podcast.
Jason, 36, conveyed his lack of enthusiasm for BBLs simply. "I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a fan of the BBLs," he said. He noted that while BBLs may look acceptable for a time, they can lead to issues later on. "That thing starts saggin’," Jason added, comparing the effect to appearing as though someone has a "diaper on the backside."
Instead of opting for surgical procedures, Jason emphasized that individuals aiming for similar results should pursue natural methods. He advised, "Just do some glute bridges!" He believes one can improve their physique naturally and avoid what he described as synthetic enhancements. He pointed out that the aesthetics can be off if lower body muscles aren't balanced. "When the hamstrings don’t match your a–, it doesn’t look good," he explained.
The discussion about BBLs surfaced when Travis, 34, revealed learning about the procedure while hosting Amazon Prime Video's "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?" During the show’s premiere, a contestant expressed her intention to undergo the surgery, prompting Travis to request clarification on what it entailed. He quickly learned that BBL involves redistributing fat from the midsection to the buttocks for an enhanced appearance.
Travis has not only excelled as the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end but has also received recognition for his hosting abilities on the game show. Guest stars Natasha Leggero and Ron Funches praised him ahead of the premiere. Funches remarked that Travis brings a unique energy, adding, "He’s super attractive yet down to earth." Leggero echoed this sentiment, stating, "He really blew us away."
The "Are You Smarter Than" series first drew in viewers with its 2007 launch, "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" Now, in 2024, celebrity contestants face off in trivia challenges, vying for the title of the most knowledgeable.
